Ive taken in one of my hens into a nursary twice now and this time i took in my 2 indian runner ducks (1/2 week old!!).

The kids loved them and were very interested to how they feel, what they eat and loved feeding my hen rasins................:lol::lol::lol:

I guess I will be asked next year! I dont mind Cocky is used to being handled by kids and Im sure the indian runners will settle tot he idea!

i think people are still in a flap over bird flu, :?

went in to feed the chooks and the ducks this morning, only to find a mallard and 13 duckings having a swim in our pond. I found the nest under some shrubs and it looks like all the eggs hatched.

My daughter deryn, who's 4 next week, thought it was amazing. It'll be interesting to see how they get on with our ducks?

Should we encourage them to leave or will they be ok together?
