I knew about the Orpingtons, because it mentioned it on their club site, but it is very worrying about the thefts being countrywide. I feel so sorry for those poor people that have had so many stolen - and the rest of the equipment to boot just adds salt to their wounds. Perhaps breeders should think of microchipping the birds, and only they can pass the details of the new owner on.
