Guest
What is it with kids these days and their "new" words ...... "rinsed" , what's that about? . Mine are always saying "I've owned you" , like that makes sense . We have 'rinsed' here too. DD2 says 'Buff ting' or shortened to 'buff'. Not sure what that means at all, but I think it's good! Cinnamon
Doesn't Buff mean beautiful?
Guest
Does it? Something like that anyway. Nice things seem to be 'buff'! I suppose it applies quite well to Buff Sussex and Buff Orpington.
MedusA
Full of admiration for you, Rhapsody! What a great Mum! I consider myself fortunate to have only one child, my DD, and she is virtually teetotal. She's one of theose people who, like to feel "in control" at all times, so I honestly never had any worries about either drink or drugs. She's now a very level-headed and career-minded 23 year old, so hopefully I've escaped the fate you had. But, as you say, it wasn't too bad considering. surferdog
Blimey! You are brave. Here was me thinking we'd done well at the weekend - 30 odd girls (and one brave lad) to my daughter's sweet sixteenth. The only damage was that the drinks fountain overflowed into the electrics and the socket started smoking Fortunately spotted before it did any serious damage. We served a very mildly alcoholic punch which was mainly fruit juice. The worst they did was blag eggs off the neighbours as a dare. They were confiscated and returned the next day (although God knows why they handed them over - they know we have chickens!)
Karen & co.
You will be known as the sickest parents (according to ES sick means really really cool ) It was lovely to hear that they sorted out the gatecrashers themselves too Karen x
