We got our first egg on Sunday weighing in at 49g. It didn't go far between two of us!

 

The second egg laid yesterday was 65g, quite an increase in size!!! Fingers crossed today's will be even bigger as I'm making carbonara later and could do with decent yolks!!!

I haven't tried giving them spaghetti yet, do they like it then? Mine go absolutely crazy for raisins and muesli. They recognise the container and end up treading on each other in a bid to get to me first!

Well after the initial eggcitement of a 49g egg last Sunday and a 65g double yolker on Monday there has not been a sausage since. Absolutely nothing. I'm a bit disappointed, I assumed after two days in a row the eggs would just continue!!!

Not always - Alice is still giving me gaps - didn't have an egg from her for four days until today, although had a softie in between.

 

Roast mind has now got into the swing of it, used to have a day off after 3 days, we have had really good eggs for the last 5 days at least now from her
