I've been trying to find out the maximum size a small packet can be to send it via Air mail, in order to send something to the US, but it doesn't say what it is anywhere on the Royal Mail website.

 

So does anyone know? I'm asking as I need to know as I'm posting someone my navy crocs that I've sold to them...so can you help?

hmmm well it says that the max weight is 2kg so perhaps there isn't a max size just weight, maybe?

To keep your costs down, make sure the parcel weighs less than 2kg for international airmail. If the parcel goes over 2kg by even a gram, the price shoots up. I often divide parcels up into two or three boxes. It makes a huge difference!

If it's only crocs Liz then it won't be too expensive. Have you tried this bit of the Royal Mail website?

Just put in the weight and USA for the country and it will give you a price for a small packet. For example a 200g packet would be £2.80.

Maximum size

 

Length, width and depth combined must not be greater than - 900mm

The greatest single dimension must not exceed - 600mm and 2kg is the maximum weight

Thank you very much for finding that out for me, it should work out to £3.01 as it will fit under the small packet size!
