ChrisP
Sorry to be blunt, but my rabbits keep looking as if they are "doing" each other They are both sisters, 4 years old, and have both been "done", and have lived together all of their lives The question is, is it ok they are doing this? Or should i be trying to stop it? If I need to stop it, how do I? Thanks in advance for any answers, you lot have no idea how useful I find this forum! You guys that answer are sooo helpful Ta x
The Dogmother
It is normal - a sort of dominance thing. Don't worry Chris, there's nothing the slightest bit sapphic about it.
bethany
don't worry, I think the females are worse to be honest. Until I had my female dutch spayed she tried doing it with literally anything that crossed her path, including her adopted rabbit brother. I was worried about having her done because its a bigger op than neutering but after a day of being doted on and fed mushed up carrot she was better than she ever has been. She's a much more loving rabbit nowadays and I'm not sure if its because I looked after her after the operation or the operation itself. Either way, that was months ago and the raping, pillaging and destruction phase has thankfully passed.
