Guest
I've been so stupid - Caitlin was a flower girl at the village Gala day last week, and wore a gorgeous ivory dress which, of course, got covered in all sorts at the Gala dinner, but as we had rushed back from holiday specially for the day, we were rushing away again on Sunday evening, so I chucked the dress in the washing machine and left the door open (so the dress wouldn;t go mouldy or mildewy ), and my darling MIL went into the kitchen behind me and must have shut the washing machine door... We came back this morning to a now mouldy and mildewy dress - I soaked it and washed it as per my MILS apologetic instructions, but it's not come out. Can anyone help..... theherd123
Havent got a clue what to suggest and can only imagine how disappointed you are MIL was 'only trying to help' but those situations can be so frustrating cant they? I know its not very environmentally friendly but how about the Stain Devil stuff? Do they do something for mildew? EDIT! Just found this link that might help It suggest drying the clothes out in the sun to kill it off - what sun i ask?!! http://www.ehow.com/how_18795_remove-mildew-clothing.html
