Ange1
Hmm if I can work it out! Right how does one insert photos? I think I've done the hard bit by putting them into photobucket choosing a medium size 320X420. Do I click on the Img thing above? Lets try it. I notice that on photo bucket that underneath the photos there are different codes HMTL codes, direct links and Image code, could that be it?! I'll try! If this works below should appear Ethel & Alberta or 'Bert & Ethel' as my boyfriend insists on calling them! http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm294/ange1_bucket_2008/AlbertaEthel.jpg' alt='AlbertaEthel.jpg'>[/img]

Ange1
I guess I should show you where they live in Lilac Laurels! Please don't judge me though I think some will be surprised that I've put them on large gravel!!!!!! I was advised by Karen at Merrydale Poultry to do this and it also was mentioned as a solution in June's Practical Poultry magazine!! I was very dubious about it, but it works so well! As Karen says the gravel is too big for them to eat and it doesn't appear to hurt their feet, they love to stratch around in it and even make a dent in it to go to sleep! I only have to hose the gravel down to clean it the water washes out between the bricks, it can't get kicked out and foxes definately can't dig in! Ohh and I've done Egg Lou's addaption to the run which is brilliant thanks EggLou!!!!!

Keanie Bean
Lovely girls and run. I might give the gravel thing a go it looks like it will stay tidy looking. I had bark chips down but I'm not happy with them. Sarah.x
Snowy
Ooh, that gravel actually looks lovely and cool for them - especially on a hot day like today!
