Yolky
I know that this wouldn't be ok for a long term thing but would it be ok to have three new chooks from omlet in a normal run (free ranging after 5 days) in a normal run for about 2ish weeks? chelsea
yes I think 3 in a normal run with occasional free ranging is fine.
TAJ
My 3 live in a normal eglu run, though generally plenty of free ranging. You just need to ensure there is sufficient to keep them busy when they are in it. Tracy
Egluntyne
They will be fine. I had three ex-batts in a standard run for a couple of weeks whilst they acclimatised themselves to life out of the battery cage, and they were absolutely fine. Chickvic
I have 3 in the standard run. They free range after about 4pm in the week and from about noon at the week end. They are all fine and I have never (touch wood!) had any pecking issues or bullying!
