Hi guys...

 

I expect this question has been asked a million times, but does anybody use easibed??? Am struggling to find hemcore or aubiose....

 

Any answers greatly apprieciateld!!!

I use easibed, its just as good as the abiose.

 

Im finding abiose quite hard to find now , so have switched to easibed.

It's out Hullbridge way by Lubbards farm, do you know where that is? Or I can give you directions...

googled it but a little unclear. I take the Rawrethh rd home and join the A130. Is it off Hullbridge road on the left (If you had Hambro hill behind you?)

 

My usual place is in Hatfield Peverel called Upsons although they have a limited range sometimes

yes I know that one...

 

go down Rawreth lane, past asda and makro going towards Hullbridge, turn left at the little roundabout and it's down there on the left, think it's D&F feeds... not open on a sunday..... if you get to the golf club you've gone too far!!!

I use easybed - the unfragranced sort. It is brilliant stuff, the chickens love to kick it about everywhere & dig little hollows whilst throwing it over their backs! So no complaints from them. Easy to clean out & poo pick.

thanks quickcluck, will pop in sometime. Oh and I use medibed (Not sure if it's the same as easybed) It's medicated chopped straw. Hides poos lovely - they seem to disappear - and doesn't smell as much as woodchip i used to use. Aubiose/Hemcore was out of stock, although will try it when medibed runs out. (At my new-found supplier )

Well, we keep a shower curtain over our runs & the chickens free range round the garden. But it does get wet at the edges - it soon dries out though - just rake it after a downpour - so that it can dry properly. Good stuff!
