kissinuk
Just bought 25kg of mixed poultry grit from my local Jolleys for only £7.99! Works out about 10 times cheaper than the 1.5 kg tubs, worth bearing in mind with other prices going up so much recently. If interested, you can find your local store here:- http://www.jollyes.co.uk/store_locator.htm We usually mix a handfull in with their pellets every week - now that I have so much of the stuff do you think its better to fill up another feeder instead (I have a spare Grub)?? Janty
I tried that and they ignored it completely. I would mix it in or throw some on the ground for them to peck at.
redhotchick
Mine is in a separate feeder, but a little coop cup, not a grub. My girls woof it up!
Hen Watch
I was buying it at inflated costs in small 1kg bags at pet shop until I discovered CWF. Mixed Poultry Grit 25kg = £5.99 which will last ages. Steve.
Ohh I have a Jolleys just a few mins from me .... didn't see Poultry Grit .... I will have to look harder. The feed is a good price - I bought 80kg of it. And they didn't have Apple Cider Vinegar either. Very rude I thought.
