IF you are extending an Eglu, you need converter first, it is just a slightly differently shaped piece, then you add extensions to that.

Good question Scrambled. I hope you don't mind if I add a similar question to this topic.

 

Say you bought TWO converters could you fit them together? I ask because I am offered a converter but not getting it for a bit so if I ordered a converter from Omlet and added that then my friend gave me her old converter could I add that on to the end or does it have to be an extension?

You couldn't put a converter on a converter as one end is shaped differently to convert the run shape to a tunnel where the roof is parallel to the floor (in the run bit, the roof slopes upward). You'd need an extension, rather than a converter I'm afraid.
