MedusA
There's been a lot in the media recently regarding teaching children about green issues and hoping they will pass the info up to their parents and nag them to adopt a more eco-conscious lifestyle, reduce their carbon footprint etc. This reminded me of something that happened 20 years ago, when my DD was just 4 years old. At the time we were in the habit of playing "I Spy" both to develop her vocabulary and alleviate boredom. By this point, we were at the multiple-word stage of the game. Whilst walking from Grandma's house to her Granny's house she came up with the I Spy of PTA. Her Dad and I thought and thought, but couldn't get it, so had to give in. She pointed to a chimney, belching out smoke, and serenely explained. "Polluting The Air" Out of the mouths of babes.....Not just a current topic then?
