callyfc Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 Yeh, sorry to bore you people, but I seem to have been waiting for ages for my Eglu, and I have been reading posts and messages for over a month now. Well the day is nearly here! I am going on a Hen Party for begginers tomorrow, and the Eglu arrives ABW on Fri, hopefully will collect our three hens on Sunday! Cant wait!!! Will keep you posted! Not sure exactly what were getting, hybrids, that are easy and friendly! Im a little nervous about the Hen Party, but will let you all know how it goes! callyfc Posted July 25, 2008 Author Share Posted July 25, 2008 The eglu arrived yesterday and we built it before we went to bed, Ive spoken to the breeder and were picking the chucks up in the morning (today)!....so now its 3.30am and I cant sleep! already worring about foxes and that the hens will be driven mad by all the kids friends, holidays and 101 other things........ I just need to work out now how to put a piccy of my eglu and girls at the end of this post! Will let you all know what we get, and how it all goes later today, if i can tear myself away...............I wonder if our wireless conection works in the garden?.................I could always try taking my laptop out there!!!! Ginger is cheeky and deffinately the boss, The other two both very pretty! they are happy to be petted and stroked. Just waiting for the first egg!
