Jasmine, she who was unable to stand up after dustbathing - two days on the trot, has just surprised us by roosting in a tree.

 

She used the Eglu run as her launch pad, and wasn't too happy when DH "Rescued" her.

she's a funnhy old (well, young) stick.

 

She's very shy, doesn't like to be handled. Her pal Milly, cream legbar with a crazy mop head, is completely different. Absolute lunatic, rushes to be picked up, eats first/thinks later, continually escaping through netting blah blah blah. I think she might be "jealous" of the attention thagt Milly gets, and this was her rather dramatic way of getting some for herself.

 

It's certainly "never a dull moment" at the mo!

This reminds me of when I visited my brother and SIL when they were living in Italy at the beginning of the year. They were working for WWOOF on a lovely farm. The farmer had a flock of over 400 chickens and they all roosted in the trees at night. Nothing more surprising than going out for a walk at night and chicken poo falling on your head
