Can you tell me how high or low you hang your grub feeder on the eglu run and how long the food in it would last 3 girls when it is full

Hi Janette,

 

My grub is on the 11th bar up from the bottom on the eglu (which is where the omlet man put it) they seem pretty comfortable with it, and don't have to bend down too far to eat. I only have 2 chooks but a full grub of layers pellets lasts over a week for my two.

Over a week?!

 

A full Grub lasts two of my greedy hens just over two days.

 

So it obviously depends on the breed. Being stupid, I go for big hens who eat a lot and lay small eggs.
