Angels4
I was at the grain store today and bought a powder to mix in the girls water for added vitamins and electrolytes during the heat of the summer and thought they might be stressed during thier travels through the postal system. The package directions tell me to use the whole packet in 55 gallons of water so I'm wondering if anybody knows how much water the glug holds and if you have a suggestion on how much to use. Can you give them too much and cause illness?
Egluntyne
The glug holds 4 litres. It is too early for my brain to be able to do the maths. : Probably best not to give them too much, but it depends what is in them. Is it a product we have over here? Egg Lou
If the glug holds 4 litres this would equal 0.88 US gallons.. As this is almost 1 gallon I would take the volume of the packet in (grammes/oz?) to and divide by 55.. this will probably give you a tiny amount! Not sure if you have it in the UK it's from www.durvet.com. I've never even been to thier website myself. It is in a plane yellow wrapper and it just says Vitamines and Electrolytes and it is sold in 4oz packages.
