Angels4 Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 So over the past few days I've been sitting with the girls and observing (sat outside the other day for an hour in the pouring rain with no umbrella ) and have been able to choose which girl will get which name. I chose the names before the girls arrived. I chose to name the girls after one of my favorite movies "Steel Magnolias" Four great friends who hang out and natter and gossip while hanging in a beauty salon. In my signature you can determine the personalities based on the quotes. Ouiser Kinda dry and a little cynical she likes to peck her sisters Clairee She is obviously a little older than her sisters (brighter red and bigger comb) Great personality. She likes to stretch her neck and shoot straight into the air to catch flying bugs. Truvy Laid back..Spends alot of time grooming herself and her sisters. SLK69 Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Good names - I too had my names all choosen before the rescue - but know they are known as Pesky Chicken - always up to something on her own, a bit of a loner Sooky Chicken - always wants a cuddle or carry Brave Chicken - always first to try something new ie come into livingroom and drink tea out of a cup. Troy Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Two of mine are called Phyllis and Maude. Named after an extremely large Welsh cook I use to know when I was a little girl. She use to have the biggest boobs in the UK I swear and one was bigger than the other!! The big one she called Phyllis and the smaller one Maude. Well as soon as I saw the girls both 9 weeks old then...those two names just popped into my head as Phyllis was and is indeed larger than our Maude!!!
