And I want a Rhode Island Red cockerel. And a Wyandotte. And and and........Prudence is definitely giving me a Paddington hard stare! Edited to add and I want quails, and ducks. Guy Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Hmm, I really thought 2 would be fine, but was then persuaded to go for 3, and now I want some different coloured hens and eggs... (I think I am suffering from the disappointment of my eggs not winning a prize at the village fete last weekend ) Is 3 the maximum for my eglu? They are never shut in the run as they wander in the garden all day. I'm thinking of getting a cube - can I use that in a similar fashion to the standard eglu and just have the plastic bit on the ground without the wheels and ladder?
