daj198 Posted August 7, 2008 Share Posted August 7, 2008 I'm sure a lot of you have got the same "problem" as me. I have many shades for the eglu run but they are all old and so faded and dirty. Do you know if you can put them in the washing machine? It would make them look so much better if they were at least clean and faded. Couldn't Omlet make ones that don't fade quite so easily? I can't justify buying more as the current ones are perfectly functional, they just don't look nice. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Gallina Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I suspect that the washing machine would weaken the old shades: the new ones are made of a stronger material. I haven't washed mine, and the first one has been in use for over three years. The only problem is the depressing colour. chelsea Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 have washed mine many times in the machine (cool wash) and even dried them in the tumble drer (cool dry) nothing escapes the washer and tumble drier in this house! or the dishwasher for that matter!
