I have a lovely Cube and a cute wooden hen house.

 

The wooden one has Red Mite and the Cube does not, so I am going to get an Eglu to replace the wooden house a.s.a.p.

 

Has anyone found Red Mite in their Eglu?

You can still get red mite in the eglu/cube - although I don't think it is as common. The main thing with the eglu/cube is that it can be eradicated so easily. Just a good wipe clean and sprinkle with barrier red mite/diatom. There is a post in chicken cliniic about someone's recent experience.

..........and if you also have the plastic roosting bars the chances of an infestation may be even less
