We are moving house on Monday and I wondered if I will have to keep the chooks in their run for a week like I did when they first arrived or can i let them out sooner as they know us?

I would probably leave them in for a day or two but wouldn't wait a week as they already know where the food is, water, nestbox etc and like you said they know you. They have only got to get to know your garden. I would let them out after couple days under supervision.

I think I'll keep them in for a couple of days then let them play out!

 

I can't wait to move so that they will have their own area of garden and a covered run is planned for the future. They have been couped up in the Omlet run for 6 weeks since I got them so can't wait for them to stretch their wings.
