We have a small piece of roof over our front door attached to the brickwork. It is made of wood inside and has some kind of roofing material on top.

Does it have a name? It's hard to google without knowing what it is

Would a roofer, builder or joiner repair it? It seems to overlap carpentry and roofing.

 

Any help appreciated. We are worried it is slowly coming off the wall

You mean a porch without walls? I can't remember what it is called either Is it a storm porch, or is that something different entirely?

 

Edited to add, I just googled for storm porch images and it comes up with pictures of your wall-less porch, or 'doorway canopy' Choccy!

It is a roof without walls floating out from the brickwork.

I think it might be a canopy?

 

Have you got a local DIY/Handyman service as I doubt a builder would want such a small job.
