Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Hi sorry to be a bit dense what scales do any of you recommend to weigh eggs i have a manual scale but dont think that it will be sensitive enough for when the girls decide to start laying...will any digital food scale do?

Also can they be too pampered the kids just want to cuddle them all the time or have them sitting on their laps. they are in and out of the sitting room all afternoon thank goodness for laminate floor roll on return of school.

just reread i mean the chickens are in and out all of the time (as well as the kids!) they are sat on the settee leather(wipeable ) and all over !

I just got a fairly cheap set from Ebay (about £10 I think).

 

 

There are fancy ones about but as long as it does grammes it should be fine for your eggs! I use mine for cooking as well now - much more accurate than my old set.

 

I don't think pampering is a bad thing - it'll get them really used to being handled which can only be good!

Mine are the cheapest digital scales you can find in the Argos catalogue. Salter make and were £14.99 I think. They are brilliant - very impressed!

Mine were from Argos if I remember correctly. I think they were about £15.00.

I picked up a set this afternoon in Tescos which were half price at £10. They seem quite good

Got mine by saving up the nescafe beans and paying postage (£2). Not bad scales either

I've had the Salter ones for years - good for egg weighing, obviously, and fantastic for baking because you can put your bowl on and reset it to zero as you add ingredients
