Guest
Well we didn't see anyone famous. Well not really famous... But I took 2 of my former pupils and James and the "kids" (18 & 16). Realised that the family we were standing next too had rather unusually named grandchildren. Brooklyn, Romeo & Cruz! They were a lovely family, there were also Aunts and cousins (2 girls called Liberty & Tallulah plus some boys whose names we didn't get). They were all having a lovely family day out - polite kids. Although (considering we had crossed to Kent) the women were the most "Essex" there! They also had some people with American accents and at least one bloke who was a bit on the "big" side. Checked out some images on Google (Cos I don't really do celebrity) and it was definately them - with Victorias Mum, Dad and Sister. The diggers were extremely cool too! Guest
Actually you are right there - I couldn't imagine "posh" there - was flippin filthy! My jeans and I are covered in dusty dirt and my hair feels gritty! Oh and I was kinda windswept - and wearing an Omlet T shirt. Surprised they didn't back away from "the mad chicken lady" who was being called "Miss" by 2 teenagers!
BERTIE MCSQUIRTY
about 3 years ago i went to wicksteed park with my then 3 yr old son and 14 yr old niece we were sitting on a bench with another family, awaiting a ride to finish where my lad was doubled up with their daughter on a ride. and we had the usual polite conversation, suddenly my niece went crazy almost to the point of histeria - only until they leave did she tell me who it was ......it was rupert grint (from the harry potter films) and his mum dad and little sister (who was on the ride with my ben). Clur
Cool! I saw Michael Parkinson today at my mum's doctor's surgery - not quite the same street cred I suppose
Cate in NZ
The one and only time I went to Diggerland I got hopelessly lost (I do hope that they've improved the signposting around there since ) and the whole place felt grimy and grubby. The 4 children we were with loved it, but I was a little less enthused. And it was very expensive in my opinion. Certainly we didn't meet and celebrities, or offspring of celebrities
Guest
I thought it was quite good value for money but I understand they have changed the pricing. We bought online so got an onliine discount, it was £13 each and when you consider it costs more than than for a wristband at Adventure Island (Southend!) I think it was reasonable. The food was overpriced but the drinks wern't and the shop was very reasonable!

I hasten to add, I get a 'Liverpool 08' bulletin by email and for some reason, it was mentioned in there.
