Cinnamon
I found a kit for making marmalade in the supermarket today & wondered if anyone else had ever tried one? It consists of a tin of Seville orange rind,& instructions - all looks pretty simple to me. If you have tried it,can you add extras like Scotch or Drambuie to the mix? Egluntyne
I bought some oranges and a bag of sugar today.....I too fancied having a go at marmalade making. Must be something in the air. According to my book, you can add 50mls (doesn't seem much) at the end, before bottling. I don't know if that would apply to the "kit" form though. Blackrocksrock
Have tried it years ago but not added the whisky to it - dont see why not but my granny used to add 3 pandrops to the pan - actually my grandad did it the first time and she did not know and it is said it was the best ever so he owned up and she used it every time after that! - I never tried it though.
