Advice please

My DS wants to raise quail soooo......

Can anyone tell me if they have or know of anyone who has kept quail in an eglu? If so how many do you think would be viable? and are there any particular drawbacks

Not sure if this is in the right place, but if not perhaps a kind Mod could move it please

Many thanks,

Jackiex

I dont know anything about quail really but asked a similar question a few months back. I was told that the only problem with the eglu would be the run as when quails get spooked they take off fast and vertical so can damage and even kill themselves on the top of the run.

I actually think an eglu would be high enough but it does depend what type of quail you want.
