Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Hi guys.

 

We are going away for 3 nights next week. It's the first time we would have left our babies in the care of someone else

 

My neighbour is going to open and close the cube for us and collect any eggs. i will leave her some food made up...

 

I know she is perfectly capable, and they will be fine... but I can't help but feel alittle uneasy

 

is this normal do you think??? do you think they will miss us?

thinking you were refering to your children it wasn't

until I re read it again I realised you were refering to

your girlies Mine missed me when I was on

They will be fine. You'll miss them more than they missing you, I sure your neighbour will spoil them rotten. We were worried but ours were fine. You enjoy your holiday!

My girls did the same, went away for a week in the summer (sorry, August ) and my MIL (who's not keen on birds! ) looked after the girls, letting them freerange and talking to them. She had 1 egg days, with the occasional 2 egg day! They sulked when we first came back but within a week we were back up to 3 eggs a day.
