alison
Could someone please lead me to the poo pictures? I have just found two on the paving slabs that look just like semi cooked egg whites, any ideas or is it too much savoy cabbage that I got in my Abel and Cole veggie box! theherd123
Try looking here viewtopic.php?f=41&t=14546 Every now and again the chooks will have a 'clear out' pooh and it sounds like this is what your girls have just done. Its nothing to worry about as its perfectly normal. Just make sure that they arent doing this at every pooh.
alison
I've answered my own question, the site is actually this one http://www.chat.allotment.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=17568
Valkyrie
Thanks for the link, this has been very helpful as I noticed quite a few watery poos lately - and it wasn't down to lack of food! I refer to them as doing a splattypus, they contain no worms but appear to have moss in them and I assumed it was down to them being upset by their new laying abilities. They have plenty of water, but seem to prefer the yukky muck in the flower drip trays and then drink tons. So it appears that my girls are doing healthy ones after all. I am getting a bit paranoid here again.
alison
Mine also prefer the yucky water in any receptacle they can find! I thought it was a very good illustration of poos!
