GreenGirl
I have had the chooks one month today I can't remember life without them now, what on earth did I watch all the time I have just completed my Sunday task of cleaning the cube, and have been using a pressure washer to clean the house every week. I use redmite powder and DE in the house, plus paper and more DE in the trays that I change a couple of times during the week. I wondered whether my girls were particularly messy - they literally get poo everywhere - up the back of the cube, over the door, the roof They have bokashi every day and most of the poos are quite dry, but it looks like they just chuck any one wet ones around in there I have no choice but to wash the whole inside every week, I don't take it apart but take out the nest box partition, bars and trays before hosing everything down. I know they do go in the cube quite often during the day, Hermione and Titania squash next to each other to perch in the doorway for an afternoon doze. Are anyone elses like this, or are mine just being rebelious youngsters (between 16 - 20 weeks) Or am I paranoid
Egluntyne
Poo everywhere sounds about right. I always wonder how they get it half way up the back of the cube.
Milly
I haven't had it on the walls or the roof, but I did wonder today when I was cleaning how they got it under the poo trays? Milly

Ain't Nobody Here
My girls must be very well brought up . We get the occasional splat on the handle bit of the poo tray but otherwise all the poo is in the tray, generally nice and solid . Sorry . However, they could splat for Britain on the patio .
