I am having problems with night time intruders(young lads night time fishing/or just dossing in my sheds/stealing bits and pieces) and am wondering whther to get geese as guards. I have 4 acres and a pond and lots of grazing so no problem with space. However, most advice seems to be put them inside at night to protect them against foxes. This is sensible but then, if they are inside, they are not going to be able to chase off intruders for me. Does anyone keep them and let them freerange 24/7?
