Pear wine- mrs gennery taylor- advice on yeast pls

going to have a go at pear wine (p68 of easy made wine....) she tells you the weight of pears, sugar and how much water to use but doesn't say how much of the pectic stuff, yeast/yeast nutrient to use.

 

anyone who has this book, can they help me at all?

 

i assume they will come with instructions on the packet when we get them from the home brew shop but we've never done this before.

 

anyone made the pear wine and what did it turn out like?

Without being able to lay my hands on the book at the moment.......I think there is a general bit at the beginning of the book Poet.

 

I think, if there is nothing specific, then use the general rules for amounts?

 

I haven't made the pear wine,so can't help there either - sorry.

There's a lovely hot pear smell coming from the kitchen at the moment, :D
