Charlie_uk
Further to my recent post "advice" Sad to say little onion didnt make it. She really picked up and we let her back out into the garden, but sunday we found her lying in the rain. Brought her inside to keep her warm but she wouldnt eat or drink. Was going to take her back to the vets this morning but came down to a very peaceful dead chook Very sad but at least she was warm and inside when she went. Thanks for all the words of advice, feel like a bad chicken mummy but even the vet was stumped during the week as to what was wrong with her

kayandrob
Sorry to hear about Onion, we have just had a very similar experience this weekend, sadly Betty hasn't made it either, she wouldn't drink or eat and vets couldn't find anything wrong, we decided to take her to the vets and have her put to sleep as she couldn't even stand and was so skinny. Your not a bad chicken mummy at all unfortunately these things happen sending you lots of hugs Kay xxx
Gamebird
Sad news but it sounds as though she had a peaceful ending.
