Phosphorus
Question for those of you who use Flubenvet in the feed rather than the grape method - do you just put it in and give it a good shake each time you put some in the grub (I am going to weigh out some pellets and keep in a separate container with appropriate dose of Flub). Or do you add some codliver oil or the like to make it stick? My girls have pellets normally and as I have 7 hens including two broody still at the moment I thought I would go for it in the pellets rather than the grape method (sure I would have some getting more than one grape that way!) Any help appreciated as going to start I think on Sunday Saw one worm in a dropping a few days ago so thought it might be about time (haven't wormed since arrived in April) - nothing since though. Egluntyne
I generally add it to the unadulterated pellets.
Phosphorus
Brilliant - thanks for the reply. That should hopefully be much easier then - I hate adding codliver oil, it only seems to stick to a few pellets for me and I would hate to swamp them with it
..lay a little egg for me
I mix the week's dose of flubenvet with a small amount of pellets and then mix these pellets in with the larger amount that I have calculated will last 1 week. Mixing well each time.
