Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

One of my rabbits has suddenly (over a few weeks) lost a lot of weight, she weighs next to nothing and is skin and bones. But, she is eating, and will happily munch on carrot when offered.

Also, the fur below her mouth looks like it has been wet, and dried again in a 'scruffy' way, but I do not know why.

Has anyone got any suggestions about why either of these two things are happening?

to be honest, I would take her to the vet - they can see into their mouths much better than we can with the naked eye, they have something that looks a bit like the doctor uses to look down your ears ?

 

As she has lost lots of weight, I really would get her checked out.

Yes, get to the vets asap!! sounds like dental problems, but Im no expert, hope all goes well.

That's what I was worried about too

 

She has eaten a whole carrot tonight, but just in case it is dental I will make a vets appointment.

Sorry, update time! I've been busy and not had time to write here, but she is fine now! Teeth needed a little filing or something, but she is back to normal. Still kind of skinny, but that could be to old age
