jackiepoppies Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 Ah yes...Fate! Forgotten about that one I found my last job....no career!.....whilst helping out a friend in his video shop. (remember them ) No customers, so I was whiling away the time reading his copy of The Sun Saw this job advertised, (something I had NEVER considered) thought 'that sounds really interesting' and 'yes, I can do this', applied for info. pack, applied and 15 months later started work. That was 20 years ago, (retired this year) and don't regret starting a new career at 40. I've always said, I only wish I'd found it sooner! So Scrambled_.........explore every option and think a little bit out of the box. Some of my eggs are words of wisdom, some are condolences, some are meals I've prepared and some encouragement for young people like those on here who deserve a chance and follow their inner chicken.
