my title says it all when did the mark 2 cube come out and what is different?

There's another difference now: you can't get plastic roosting bars for the Mark 1.

 

My advice would be to get a Mark 1 only if it is a bargain.

opps sorry if it sounded like the eglu i meant the cube because if you go on products then cube it says the new eglu cube

The eglu cube was only brought out last year so it is 'new' to Omlet. There is only a mark I eglu cube.

Sorry, I was being thick. As there is no Mark 2 Cube, I misread the title.

There is not a mark 2 cube as such, but there have been some modifications to the original design.

The newer cubes come with plastic roosting bars as standard, and the little metal hooks at the back of the cube that are used to slide the roof forward, have a return on them to make them easier to grip and pull. Also, the newer ones will have the new run clips.

The back panel has also been modified to prevent leaks into the nesting box.
