Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

Betty my Miss Pepperpot has laid her first egg today...small at 45g but perfectly formed. Can't wait to have it for my brekkie tomorrow. Just one thing tho my other hen the Gingernut Ranger has really been pecking her today and has made her back quite sore. Should I be putting anything on it and will they just sort themselves out......that's the last thing you need isn't it someone pecking at you when you are trying to lay an egg.

For the pecking problem, try tea tree oil mixed with water and sprayed on her back. It is antiseptic and will help heal, whilst tasting horrible and should put the off pecking. You can buy anti peck sprays from pet shops too if that doesn't work.
