4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I thought I would be really good to my girls and give them a sand dust bath. I used really good quality kiln dried stuff left over from have the driveway done. They ate it!!!! the whole lot. I know they like grit but there must of been about a kilo and a half of the stuff. Will this do them any harm? Should i try mixing it in with some dry soil?

Hi I have used exactly the same sand as you I mixed it with a bag of top soil bought in wickes (Very cheap) they sell the sand cheap too
