Title says it all really! Any suggestions? I've been to a DIY place (Focus) and a garden centre today, but they both only have bark chips rather than woodchips. The 'youth' at the garden centre looked at me totally blankly when I asked if they did them and had to go and check with his manager.....

 

Is this something I might need to find a big pet shop for? I'm trying an equine feed place on Monday for some other chook bits and pieces - are they likely to have woodchips too?

got mine from dobbies garden centre bit expensive £17.50which i thought was a lot so will be hoping someone knows where to get them cheaper

hiya i had the same prob but we then went to b and q thay have some its called 'natural hard-wood' and you can get it in terracoter

Got my wood chip from B&Q also. Went for the lighter colour as I figured I might be able to pick out the poo!!!! Was £5.60 down this way

Got mine from B&Q. 3 or 4 bags of woodchip for £12

we get ours from the feed supplier , they deal with horses too and a huge bale is a fiver ... lasts forever too

I would advise looking in the yellow pages under tree surgeons and asking them for some of theirs. I used to get wood chippings from a tree surgeon for the garden.

Our local tree surgeon only charges £10 for a huge trailer load of hardwood chips, delivered to the door!! Worth a try.
