blackgold
Eggs are like buses, non for 8 weeks and then 3 come at once....Our chickens or should I say hens now are so tame they let a one year child pick them up. See new pics on my collie talk spaces. We are going to have fried and boiled egg tonight and do the gourmet taste test........... Ain't Nobody Here
Good news about the eggs . Let's hope you don't have to wait another 8 weeks for the next 3 . Lovely photos btw . Esme is a little cutie . (And your hens and dogs are gorgeous too!)
mostin
Those photos are sooooo cute. Both hen and littleie aaawwww. Which hen was it that was so tame? Congrats on all the eggs now by the way, after all that waiting .
blackgold
Esme was holding Henrietta but she can pick them all up. The hens all gravitate to her and will take food from her fingers. She has learnt to keep her fingers tucked in though LOL The Favorolles are a bit heavy for her but they dont struggle. She had some trousers on the other day will raised shiny buttons and the hens were pecking at them so Esme made a little fist and sadi no chickens and they all obeyed it was magical..... she is 2 on Tuesday so we were at her pary today will post some more pics later.....
