4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Sounds crazy, I know, but when i went into the local antique shop the other day , there were these 'vintage' beano comic chairs. I thought WOW! I want one of those but they were sooooo expensive. So I had this thought that I would try to make one, exept with newspaper!

 

I would stick the newspaper on to the chair and then varnish it!

 

Do you guys think this would work!? Any help much appreciated!

Yes, I did this with a small side table and some sheet music some years ago, if the chair is currently painted 'key' the surface by rubbing it with some sandpaper to create a rougher surface or the paper will just slide around on it!

Definitely! As redwing said, followed by several good layers of a decent quality polyurethane varnish. Should be good!
