4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I found our first egg this morning, a lovely brown egg that is not much smaller than a medium supermarket egg! Think Amy is the proud mother as she has been going down into the mating position every time I go to stoke her in the lat week or so and was making a heck of a noise yesterday.

 

We have put a supermarket egg in the nest box all tucked up in a bed of straw, it looks lovely and cosy and hopefully will encourage more egg laying

 

Can't wait to have a delicious (hopefully) boiled egg for my tea tonight!

 

Phew, it was a long wait though, girls arrived on October 7th - I guess 6 weeks is normal though isn't it? Extra meal worms all round today!
