poachedegg Posted November 22, 2008 Share Posted November 22, 2008 I watched some of it - I was 15 in 1983.........and I went to see Kajagoogoo at the Manchester Apollo I have also seen Paul Young in concert a couple of times - not sure I liked watching them 'now', as they don't look like the heart throbs I fancied then....but then neither do I!! I was fifteen in 1983 too and living in Runcorn so not too far away from you poachedegg (that is if you were in Warrington in 1983). I love the 80's music. Nick Kershaws hair was missing Thought Paul Young let the side down by miming 'Wherever I lay my hat' Kagagoogoo looked like they were having the best time they have had in ages. Tony Hadley, as ever, was fab and the best bit for me was Nick Heyward who I had a massive crush on when I was 12.
