WitchHazel
Hi, I need to order a new peckablock or two. If you live near me and use Peckablocks then read on The normal cost of a peckablock is £7.13 including VAT but excluding shipping. Shipping is between 4.99+VAT and 6.50+VAT depending on how many you buy. A box of 12 is 72.48 INCLUDING shipping to my house. This works out at £6.05 each, although you'd have to come and collect from me. Are you interested in sharing a case? If so, let me know roughly where you are and how many you would want. If enough people are interested, I'll place an order. Hazel
eggscombobulated
Out of interest how long do they last? Are they gone in a day?!!
WitchHazel
I think experience on this is quite varied. They are rock hard, I've found mine last for a couple of months (I have three hens). They love it if I wet it for them when I'm hosing down the perches, or if I have the hose out to fill up the drinkers. Then an inch seems to disappear quite quickly. I'm sure others will be along to say what their experience has been.
stoice
Sadly my girls ignored this. Bought it about 6 months ago and not a nibble until a few weeks ago. I thought 'great they've finally noticed it' until i worked out I had a rat problem. Your girls might like them though
WitchHazel
Sadly my girls ignored this. Bought it about 6 months ago and not a nibble Try wetting it. I did this (by accident initially) and my girls then discovered it. Now they love it wet or dry.
helenmb
I also found that when mine got wet - it was hanging from the run wire - that is suddenly became very popular and was gone in 2 or 3 weeks. Have just put out a new one which is dry and is being ignored again so I'll be watering mine at the weekend.
