Just for information: Countrywide stores are now selling the Flubenvet 1% pre-dosed wormer for domestic poultry keepers. At our local store it retails for £19 for a 60g pack which they say would treat 20 birds.

There was a thread about this in October which you might find interesting. It's not the good deal we all hoped for .

Wow, thanks for that. They really are trying to rip us off aren't they?!!

I didn't buy any - just said rather pathetically "oh right, well I know where to come to get some if I need it...."

 

Having said that, the woman that works in our local Countrywide said she has kept chooks for 40 years and never had a problem with worms or needed to worm hers. I guess it's the luck of the draw.
