Every time I nip out into the cold garden to close the Eglu door and keep them all toasty all night, they pop out before I can get to the door and talk to me! Finally I closed the door & then caught each one and popped them in through the egg collection doorway. What a palaver! This is the first time they have not gone to bed at dusk - why do you think it has happened? I did check inside the Eglu, but could see nothing nasty lurking.... Snowy Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 Little monkeys! Mine trot out again if the outside light comes on, but they stay put if it is dark. Are you lit up when you go out to them? Not sure what else to suggest - I leave the door open for mine. Could you leave the door half open so it delays them coming out and gives you chance to close it properly?
