Recommended Posts

Hi hope things not too bad, well we have used calamine when we had it as kidsand i used it on ds when he had it, try putting it in the fridge as that is very soothing. Just keep an eye on him any further probs speak to your gp, keep an eye on his chest how his breathing feels as rarely it can cause problems. Good wishes and hope your mum not feeling too bad x

He says he felt absolutely wretched for most of the day but he looks a bit brighter this evening - hopefully the anti-virals are kicking in now and he has turned the corner.

He was made redundant today

Not normally a cause for celebration but he has known about it for a while (he was told that his department was being eliminated back in October - such a sensitive choice of words  ) and it meant that he could sign the contract for his new (better) job that will start mid-February. We only relocated in April 2008 (which meant doubling our mortgage) and he couldn't resign from the old job because his employer would have made him pay back the relocation allowance :x
