Quite proud of myself this morning - I have just obtained all the protection against birds and beasties that I will need for my allotment. And free of charge! I have just picked up a large bag of unwanted net curtains from a freecycler. The fine voile type will be used to cover anything that needs protection from bugs, and the more open weave nets will be stitched into a tent shape to fit over canes to make a fruit cage for my fruit bushes

 

The more I think about it, the ideas I am coming up with - I need some more now to make a mobile chicken fence with
