fowlbird
There's always 'Cock Roundabout' in Bungay Apparently, so family legend has it it was my great nan or maybe great great nan that started feeding Chicken roundabout in Bungay! She used to walk over and feed them although I don`t think it was the roundabout as it is today. Thats a bit modern day! It is a big roundabout with chickens on it! We drove past the other week and looks like council have cut all the trees/bushes back so all the chooks were having a whale of a time scouting through all the cuttings for creepy crawlys! They are loads there!!! I am always a bit concerned that there will be splat chicken as they just wander across the junctions completly unconcerned that there are cars! I can confirm that as we've been past that roundabout! I was impressed by the chicken aware drivers who went round carefully... The Broughton wild chickens came about when a lorry overturned in the area and a load of chooks escaped - that was years ago and they've been living and breeding ever since... No idea how good they'd be as chickens of fate - too used to their freedom
